Biography
Herbert (Ah Lin) Lynne was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
Herbert Hartley Ah Lin was born in 1876 in Bathurst, Colony of New South Wales, son of James Ah Lin (1842–1909) and Johanna Nutter (1854–1917).[1]
Herbert (23) married Elizabeth Elmore Woodley (18) (born in 1881 in Dubbo, New South Wales; daughter of John Henry Woodley and Elizabeth Foster) in 1900 in Bathurst, New South Wales.[2] Their children were:
- Elsie Josephine Lynn (1901–1925)
- Clement Edward Lynn (1903–1943)
- Irene Isabel Lynn (1905–1996)
- Avis Philomena Lynne (1913–2004)
- Paul Joseph Lynne (1925–2000)
Herbert died in 1966 in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia, aged 89.[3] He was buried in Bathurst Cemetery, Bathurst, Bathurst Regional Council, New South Wales.[4]
